Chicago Botanic Garden.
Located 25 miles north of downtown Chicago, the Chicago Botanic Garden offers 385 acres of beauty and serenity. It is a place where visitors can find waterfalls, native prairies and oak woodlands, English walled and rose gardens, water gardens, and exhibitions. It is the mission of the Chicago Botanic Garden to promote the enjoyment, understanding and conservation of plants and the natural world. Trip -a window will include a continental breakfast, Tram tour and a "Behind the Scenes" visit to greenhouses and on-your-own-time to enjoy the Garden. Lunch Included.Visitors should dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. The field trip is not strenuous, participants can walk as much as they like.
