Judicial Independence and Scientific Evidence.

Judge Jones will speak about why judicial independence is so important in the United States today. Relatedly, he will also detail how judges go about deciding cases that come before them. Finally, and with reference to the Dover case, he will discuss disputes regarding scientific evidence, and the mechanisms used by courts to determine what is and isn't good science
